Fly-In at Jim Leon's Field in Kankakee

Me, Jim, Barry, Kevin and Vance took a quick trip to the Kankakee area in early July to enjoy Jim Leon's hospitality.  He hosted a nice fly-in, complete with a huge batch of chili that had been simmering for about 12 hours.  Some fun stuff to see, and some fun flying.  Fun, that is, until Kevin's motor crapped out on him during his and my meandering flight back to Clow.  No pictures of that, I'm afraid (although Kevin is probably thankful), so you'll have to enjoy these shots:
