Update on the Illinois Aviation Museum at Bolingbrook
By Brian Gilomen
Kent Demuth reports that the Illinois Aviation Museum at Bolingbrook has a Website. Although rather basic at this time, it's live and functional. Point your browser to www.illinoisaeromuseum.com
Kent requests that we all check it out, and give him feedback with any suggestions, additions or corrections. He can be reached via email at nkent@1demuth.com.
Anyone interested in working on the Website Committee should let him know. he is also requesting that the various Museum Committees send him material, which he will ad to Committee Pages on the site.
In other news, Brad Wolf forwarded an email from Jim Chybicki, Restoration Co-Chairman, reporting that on Thursday, March 25th at 6:00 pm, at Boyd Clow's Office (hangar 2), there was a mandatory "Safety Meeting" for everyone that wished to participate in restoration of the T-2 Buckeye and any future projects. This was to be a brief overview on Museum rules and safety procedures while working on the aircraft. If you did not attend the safety meeting, you will NOT be allowed to work on the aircraft.
