Fox Valley Flying Club

             March/April, 2004 Newsletter

Thoughts from the Editor:

Not much to report, even though two months have passed since the last edition of this Newsletter.  A group of FVFC'ers made the trip to Springfield for the annual Safety Seminar, and Brad Wolf was kind enough to submit a quick write-up about it.  A similar, smaller group went to the EAA-sponsored UFI Ground School at Oshkosh (and although I was promised a write-up about it, none was delivered).  Mick Pahnke continues to slave away on his RV 9A, and he sent along some great photos -- several of which I have included.  The Sport Pilot rulemaking has been temporarily derailed.  And, the Illinois Aviation Museum at Bolingbrook has a Website.

As always, all FVFC members are an integral part of this Newsletter.  To that end, please send to me (via email to gilomen@ais.net) any and all amusing anecdotes, grumpy gripes, scary stories and wanted/for sale/for trade ads.  The more stuff you send, the more interesting this Newsletter will be!
